This SmartRack\u00ae emergency fallback ventilation system works in conjunction with the SRCOOL3KTP Top-of-Rack Precision Cooling Air Conditioner (sold separately) to help prevent rack equipment from overheating in case of a cooling system failure. If the SRCOOL3KTP malfunctions due to power failure, the SRCOOLTMVENT\u2019s embedded thermal sensor triggers a lid release, allowing the hot air within the rack to dissipate. An SNMP alert via the SRCOOL3KTP\u2019s remote management will notify you that the vent has opened.

The SRCOOLTMVENT inserts easily into the SRCOOL3KTP\u2019s reserved slot using the included mounting screws and can be retrofitted into existing installations.
